Even with a 14 point lead, Juventus refuse to let down their guard. Their line-up was as strong as ever with the exception of injured stars Andrea Pirlo and Paul Pogba.
Carlos Tevez continued to show his great form with a great goal in the 25th minute to give Juventus the 1-0 lead. Tevez was given the ball at the top of the 18-yard box, he proceeded to take on a few defenders with strength and pace before smashing it home into the top of the net from just outside the 6-yard box.
Juventus were given the opportunity to increase their lead in the 60th minute when Roberto Pereyra was brought down clumsily inside the box. Despite good form and a good match, Tevez was unable to get the ball past the keeper as he guessed the right way on the shot.
Genoa were never able to get themselves into the game and Juventus took three easy points home. Tevez continues to show that he is as good as ever and has earned himself 21 goals in all competitions thus far.
