Here is a fantasy football preview for the New England Patriots. Remember, the Pats went to the AFC Championship game last season, but were eliminated by the Denver Broncos.

Tom Brady: Brady has been up and down the NFL road plenty of times. Ever since he was drafted from Michigan in 2000 he’s been a dynamic QB. Personally, I don’t think there was a better QB last season than Brady. I expect more of the same this season from Brady. I believe he is worth owning and will make a lot of fantasy football teams better. Brady has shown me that age truly is nothing but a simple number. This will be his 14th season in the NFL and I think, based on last season, he still has a few seasons left.

Rob Gronkowski: Gronk has been productive for the past few seasons. I think that with the Aaron Hernandez scandal put a lot of pressure on Rob because Hernandez wasn’t there to help out in the TE scheme of things. Gronk handled the pressure well, and has been a standout star ever since. He is worth owning and will be a receiving threat for years to come

Shane Vereen: Shane is in a deep group of Pats RBs. He was part of the reason the Pats made it as far in the postseason as they did last year. The Pats hope he can deliver again this upcoming season, as they look for Superbowl number 4. The Pats running game may be either their biggest enemy or their best friend. He is worth owning and will be one of the primer RBs this year.

Julian Edelman:  Julian Edelman has become one standout guy for the Pats WR crop. I’ve even heard some people call him a Randy Moss carbon copy. I wouldn’t go that far, but Edelman isn’t far off. The Edelman-Gronkowski receiving duo makes the Pats a dangerous team when it comes to receiving. If you’re building your fantasy team around receiving, I suggest having Edelman in the crop.

Aaron Dobson: Aaron is my sleeper pick. He is part of that dangerous receiving crop I mentioned earlier and with good reason. Edelman, Gronk, and Dobson are threats for sure and will need to be if they want to beat out 31 other teams for the Superbowl ring. I believe that he too is worth owning.
