AC Milan 2-2 Hellas Verona

Verona would deliver the first blow of the match in the 18th minute. Artur Ionita was brought down clumsily by Sulley Ali Muntari inside the box. Verteran, Luca Toni, stepped up and sent the keeper the other way to give Verona the lead.

Milan were awarded a penalty before the half as Phillipe Mexes was brought down in the box. Jeremy Menez stepped up to take the penalty and struck it hard down the middle with the keeper diving towards a corner.

Milan gained the lead just two minutes into the second half as Milan displayed some great team work inside the box. Philppe Mexes was able to control a scrambling ball and squeeze it into the low corner where it bounced off the defenders leg and into the goal.

Verona found their equalizer four minutes into stoppage time as Juan Taleb flicked a ball for Nicolas Lopez to run on to and with defenders behind him, slides the ball into the low right corner.

Both teams will be happy to walk away with a point, but Milan have slipped 11 points behind 4th place.
