Week 6 Waiver Wire Pickups

Josh McCown, QB, Cleveland Browns, 4.2% owned

McCown has been steadily improving over the last few weeks. He has scored 19.6, 22.2, and 35.5 points over the last three weeks. The Browns do have tough week against Denver next week, but he should rack up some yards at St. Louis.

Further down the line, McCown will go up against a weaker than normal Pittsburgh team, another shot at the Ravens, who he scored 35.5 against, San Francisco, and Kansas City. If you need somebody to plug in from time to time, McCown could be your man.

Theo Riddick, RB, Detroit Lions, 15.2% owned

Riddick has been putting up some pretty good numbers. He has faced some pretty good defenses (Denver, Seattle, and Arizona) and put up 14.6, 8.6, and 21.3 points.

Detroit will be playing Chicago, Minnesota, and Kansas City before their bye week, which could mean some pretty good numbers.

Marquess Wilson, WR, Chicago Bears, 5.2% owned

Wilson is starting to become one of Jay Cutler’s favorite target. In each of the last two weeks, he has 6 catches for 80+ yards, and he scored a touchdown against the Chiefs. He scored 14 and 20.5 points.

The Bears are going up against Detroit before their bye week, then they have Minnesota and San Diego after that. Wilson should put up some pretty good numbers in those three games.

Kyle Rudolph, TE, Minnesota Vikings, 27.3% owned

Rudolph had a couple of good weeks to start the season, but has cooled off since. The Vikings are coming off a bye week. He has favorable matchups coming up, with Kansas City, Detroit, and Chicago in the next three weeks. He already scored 14 points against Detroit in Week 2, so that is a good sign for Week 8.
