0

The Champions league Round of 16 kicks off this Tuesday and Wednesday as eight more teams go head to head to see who will advance to the Quarterfinals. We already saw Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, FC Porto and Real Madrid advance to the next round and four more will advance this week. Let’s take a look at how these teams will end up with the Champions League predictions brought to you by TheAOSN.com:

Last Match fixtures:

AS Monaco 3-1 Arsenal

Bayer Leverkusen 1– 0 Atletico Madrid

52280   Arsenal vs. 50023AS Monaco

7:45 PM CET (12:45 PM PST) @ Stade Louis II, Fontvieille, Monaco

AS Monaco made Arsenal look horrible in the first leg of the Round of 16 matchup at the Emirates Stadium back in late February. Arsenal was defeated 3-1 and the defense was terrible throughout the game. Monaco was able to find the chemistry they needed to get through a week Arsenal team that will have to win the game with 3 goals or more and a two goal differential because a tie in aggregate resulting from a 2-0 score in favor of Arsenal will allow Monaco to advance to the Quarterfinals. I see Monaco advancing to the Quarterfinals for the first time since they won the title back in 2004.

Monaco 2-0 Arsenal

50109Bayer Leverkusen vs.50124 Atletico Madrid

7:45 PM CET (12:45 PM PST) @ Estadio Vicente Calderon, Madrid, Spain

Bayer Leverkusen was able to get the win in the first leg over a very disappointing Atletico Madrid and they hope to do the same on Tuesday night. But Atletico has shown that they are heavy competitors in the Champions League. So Tuesday’s matchup might turn up to be great, seeing Bayer fight to enter the next round while Atletico will try to not make it easy to get through to the next round like Bayern Munich did against Shakhtar. With Fernando Torres hopefully starting along with Antoine Griezmann, Atletico has a chance to win the second leg and advance to the next round of the Champions League.

Atletico 2-0 Bayer Leverkusen
