Loic Remy scored two goals to help Chelsea get their last victory of the season at Stanford Bridge. Not only was this the game to celebrate for Chelsea after winning the Premier League a few weeks ago, but it was also Didier Drogba’s last game with the blues. Drogba was named captain of the match and was subbed thirty minutes into the first half.

Sunderland went up first in the scoresheet, after a corner kick in the 26th minute. No defender from Chelsea was able to clear the ball and Steven Fletcher took advantage running into the far post to finish into the back of Petr Cech’s net.

At the 35th minute mark, Juan Cuadrado was dropped by captain John O’Shea inside the box and the blues were awarded with a penalty kick. Diego Costa took the penalty and scored his 20th goal of the season.

With twenty minutes left in the game, Remy appeared and scored two goals to seal the victory at Stanford Bridge. First goal was a shot outside the box after a creative run by Eden Hazard, and his second goal was a run into first post after a precise ball by Nemanja Matic.

Chelsea, Champions of the Premier League ended their season in a good note and more impressive, they did not lose a single game this season at home.
