Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira Joins Juventus on Free Transfer

Having linked with interests from Premier League teams Arsenal and Manchester United, Sami Khedira is set to join Juventus on a free transfer. The 28 year old German joined Real Madrid in 2010 from Stuttgart, but has recently been out of play. Although winning La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Champion League titles, Sami Khedira says he has been frozen out of the team last season that had him obviously not staying. Despite the high praising of his training from Carlo Ancelotti, he had various frequent injuries that had him doubtful for playing time.

The German World Cup Champion had agreed terms according to Juventus’ official website. Sami Khedira is set to join the Champions league finalist side at the end of the month agreeing to a four year contract.
A Statement on the Juventus official website read: “Juventus Football Club has today completed the signing of Sami Khedira.

Bianconeri Boss Massimiliano Allegri is set to add a player of class, quality and international experience to his ranks, ready to enrich one of the strongest midfields in the world.”

Juventus has recently also agreed to sign Palermo striker Paulo Dybala, and could see some players departing this summer. Various recent reports have Turin Star Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal linked with possible transfers, as Alvaro Morata seems to be happy to stay as reports had Real Madrid wanting to reacquire him.
