Queens Park Rangers have been relegated from the Premier League after an embarrassing 6-0 defeat at Manchester City.

Sergio Aguero scored a hat-trick thanks to poor defending and a penalty. Aleksandar Kolarov scored a free kick over a cowardly Rangers, James Milner and David Silva scored in the second half to complete the rout.

City looked in good form as they appear to almost toy with a poor QPR side that appeared to have already accepted their place back in the Championship. Chris Ramsey’s side had to win each of their final three games if they were to have any chance of surviving. The way they performed was disappointing as they throw away their place in the league.

The visitors defending was embarrassing for both of Aguero’s goals and their overall play through out wasn’t much better. City were able to enjoy 60% possession and 22 shots on goal in a game that could have been in the double digits.

Milner was allowed time on the right, throughout the match and David Silva seemed to be able to find Aguero every time he had the ball.

The Argentine striker troubled the Rangers defense all afternoon and took just four minutes to score in the first half. The city forward was able to run into Rob Green’s box unchallenged and clip the ball over the England keeper.
