This Thursday, two of the NFL’s elite quarterbacks will clash in what could be a do or die game. The San Diego Chargers will visit the Denver Broncos in what may be their final stand to stay alive for the chase of the #6 seed in the AFC.

Both teams are coming off of impressive 23-point wins this past Sunday. Why is this game important for both? Well, for the Broncos, the #1 seed in the playoffs is at stake and a loss Thursday plus a Patriots win would put the Pats in the #1 spot. As for the Chargers, as I stated above, are trying to stay alive in the playoff race. A loss Thursday night may end up taking out the Chargers of the playoff race if Baltimore or Miami win their games.

What can we expect? Well, don’t think the Chargers will just roll over in this game. To make this even more dramatic, don’t be surprised if the Chargers pull this one out! I’m not saying they will, but you never sleep on a team with playoff aspirations. Also, with Wes Welker out, that gives the Chargers porous secondary one less weapon to worry about. But hey, guess what Broncos fans! You have Peyton Manning, so you really don’t have to worry about that.

I’ll leave you with one last thought…

Any given Sunday
