NFL 32/32 Draft Needs: 5/32 Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills haven’t been good in a long time but last years roster showed flashes of having some young talent that could put Buffalo on the map for a while or at least help them compete. With the AFC at an all time worse, now is the time for Buffalo to make those moves to solidify a possible playoff team. With last years draft, they managed to get a competent quarterback in E.J. Manuel and add a couple of good receivers in Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin. Add that to the fact they already had talented players like C.J. Spiller and Stevie Johnson and you get a competitive offense. With this years draft, they’ll look to step their offense one level higher and make improvements to their defense.

Draft Needs: S, TE, OT

Safety: After losing Jairus Byrd to the New Orleans Saints this offseason, they lost one of their most talented players on the defensive end if not the most talented. To soften the blow, the Bills are going to need to find someone above average to stand back there especially since they play in the same division as Brady and the rising Ryan Tannehill.

Tight End: As I mentioned earlier the Bills offense seems to be going in the right direction with the amount of talent they have compiled. The only thing missing is a stud TE. Don’t get me wrong, Scott Chandler has always been consistent, but he’s never been an athletic freak the way these new TE’s are being built coming out of college recently. The TE to own in this draft is Eric Ebron and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bills took him with the ninth pick.

Offensive Tackle: With all the skill positions basically covered, the Bills are going to need to solidify their line. Last year E.J. Manuel and C.J. Spiller both suffered injuries throughout the year and a better line can not only help lower the chances of that but also create time for the QB and holes for the RB. There are plenty of options in this draft at OT and although this is true, and I said the Bills should take Ebron at the ninth pick, they will more likely travel the safer route and take an OT with that first round pick.
