Coming into Game 3, Yu Darvish has had an excellent postseason, going 2-0 with an era of 1.59. Darvish also had previous success in Minute Maid Park. Unfortunately, that was not the case in Game 3. Darvish only lasted 1.2 innings, allowing 6 hits and 4 runs.

The Dodgers’ bullpen kept the team in the game, but the offense struggled with runners in scoring position. Their offense went 0-7 with runners in scoring position while the Astros went 3-14 with runners in scoring position. The Astros did just enough to win Game 3 of the World Series.

Brad Peacock was sensational for the Astros tonight, allowing zero runs and striking out 4 in 3.2 innings. The Astros needed somebody to step up besides their starters, and Peacock did just that by having a 1-2-3 inning in the top of the 8th against the heart of the Dodgers lineup.
