AFC Divisional Round Recap

The divisional weekend in the AFC had its fair share of ups and downs, from a crazy shoot out to an absolute beatdown. The Titans were  pummled by the Patriots on the road. This was thanks to a great game from the New England offense and a stout defense. Meanwhile, on the other side of the conferences, the Jags used a heavy hitting defense to pull off the impressive feat of dominating the over confident Steelers.

The Pats were in complete control from the onset of this divisional game. After a few quick scores what had looked like a promising match up turned in to a onesided affair.  Furthermore the Titans were un able to spark a comeback this week as they didn’t get much from Derrick Henry. Henry was held to just 28 yards on 12 carries.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Pittsburgh Steelers

The Jagss and Steelers put on an offensive show in their divisional match up.  Blake Bortles was impressive helping Jacksonville hang 45 points on the Steelers. However it was the Jags defense that was most dominant of the two, building a huge lead in the first half and holding on to it at the end. Although Pittsburgh’s “killer bees” came on strong at the end of the game but it was too little to late.
