AFC East Week 7 Recap

The AFC East race is as tight as ever after a heart pounding week 7. The Patriots picked up a monster win against Atlanta and the Dolphins pulled off yet another  unbelievable comeback, this time against New York.

Buffalo Bills

The Bills came off their bye week and picked up a big victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. LeSean McCoy ran for 91 yards and 2 scores enabling the Bills to pick up a 30-27 win. Buffalo sits at 4-2 ust a half game behind division leading New England.

A Look Ahead

Next up for Buffalo is an offesively stout Raiders team. This will be a good test for the Bills secondary that will have to deal with a red hot Michael Crabtree and a revitalized Amari Cooper. As it stands the Bills are a 2.5 home favorite.

Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins came back from being down 14 points in the 4th quarter to upend the defending New York Jets. The emotional comeback was capped off by two late touchdown hook ups by Matt Moore and Kenny Stills. This allowed the Phins to swim away with a 31-28

A Look Ahead

Next week the Dolphins take on the Ravens in a Thursday night contest. The winner of this game came put themselves in a good spot moving forward toward the playoffs. As it stands Miami is a 3 point favorite.

New York Jets

The Jets lost a tough one to Miami, coming up just 3 points short. Austin Seferian-Jenkins caught yet another touchdown but it wasn’t enough to hold the Dolphins. With this loss the Jets are now 2 games behind the Patriots in the AFC East at 3-4 look up from the division cellar.

A Look Ahead

Next week the Jets looked to right the ship against an Atlanta team with a bad taste in their mouths. This may be the biggest test for the Jets defense as the Falcons have weapons galore. As of now Atlanta is an early 5 point favorite.

New England Patriots

The defending Super Bowl Champions picked up a key victory at home against the Falcons. The Pats led wire to wire it what wasn’t a really competitive game. New edition Brandin Cooks had 4 catches for 65 yards and a score. The Patriots look like once again maybe the team to beat in the AFC but only time will tell.

A Look Ahead

Next week the Patriots take on the Chargers in a QB duel for the ages. Phillip Rivers would love nothing more than to stick it to an old rival. Look for this to be a hard fought contest. New England is currently a 7.5 favorite.
