AFC East Week 6 Recap

The AFC East may have had its most interesting week yet in week 6. The Patriots picked up a controversial win against New York and the Dolphins pulled off an unbelievable comeback against Atlanta.

Buffalo Bills

The Bills were on the bye this week. Buffalo got some much needed rest ahead of their home game against the Tampa Bay Bucs. The Bills are in a good spot in the division and looked to get back to winning football games.

A Look Ahead

With the Bucs in town the Bills have a very winnable game ahead of them. Their defense should be able to pressure Jameis Winston in to a few mistakes. Buffalo is a 3 point favorite in this match up.

Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins came back from being down 17-0 to upend the defending NFC Champion Falcons.The emotional comeback was capped off by a heads up play by Reshad Jones who picked off Matt Ryan late in the 4th quarter to seal the deal.

A Look Ahead

Next week the Dolphins take on the Jets in a pivotal AFC East battle. The winner of this game came put themselves in a good spot moving forward. As it stands Miami is a 3 point favorite.

New York Jets

The Jets lost a tough one to New England, on one of the most controversial calls of the season. Late in the 4th quarter with a chance to cut in to the lead. Austin Seferian-Jenkins caught what looked like a touchdown only to have it overturned and ruled a fumble. With this loss the Jets are now a game behind the Patriots in the AFC East at 3-3.

A Look Ahead

Next week the Jets looked to right the ship against the Dolphins. This match up could go along way in deciding who comes out of the AFC West.

New England Patriots

The defending Super Bowl Champions picked up a key victory on the road in New York. The Pats overcame 14 point deficit to beat the Jets 24-17. Rob Gronkowski led the way with two big touchdown catches. New England had a scare late when what would have been a critical score by the Jets was overturned and rule a fumble out of bounds.

A Look Ahead

Next week the Patriots take on the Falcons in a Super Bowl rematch. Atlanta has not forgotten about squandering a 28-3 lead in their last match up. Look for this to be a hard fought contest. New England is currently a 3.5 favorite.
