AFC East Week 13 Recap

The AFC East race is almost over after only 13 weeks of action. New England sits just one win away from clinching the division. The Patriots handled Buffalo and the Dolphins blew out the Broncos.

Buffalo Bills

The Bills came off their close win over the Chiefs, with an atrocious performance against the Patriots. LeSean McCoy only ran for 93 yards on 15 carries enabling the Pats to pick up a 23-3 win. Buffalo sits at 6-6 an is quickly losing ground to division leading New England.

A Look Ahead

Next up for Buffalo is an battle with the up and down Colts. This will be a good chance for the Bills to pick up a much needed victory. As it stands the Bills are a 4 point favorite.

Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins destroyed the Denver Broncos. The offensive and defense both played well.  Kiko Alonso and the Phins defense gave up no big plays which led to the 35-9 final score.

A Look Ahead

Next week the Dolphins take on the surging Patss in a game the Phinss need to win desperately. If Miami loses again they mave have to start thinking about next season. As it stands Miami is a 11.5 point underdog.

New York Jets

The Jets won a tough one over Kansas City. Austin Seferian-Jenkins had a quiet game this week with only 2 catches, but it was enough. With this win the Jets are still  behind the Bills and Phins in the AFC East at 5-7.

A Look Ahead

Next week the Jets take on the lowely Broncos. New York will look to keep their momentum going and pick up a W. As it stands they are a 1 point favorite.

New England Patriots

This week the Patriots beat down the Bills. New England put up 23 points more than enough against a beleaguered offense that struggled to get close to the endzone  Tom Brady was impressive as usual and picked apart Buffalo for 258 yards.

A Look Ahead

Next week the Patriots will be taking on the Dolphins with a chance to lock up the division. The Patriots will be looking to pick up from where they left off against Buffalo. New England should win this game pretty handedly, even without suspended Tight End Rob Gronkowski, evident by the fact they are an early 11.5 point favorite.
