Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles and Carson Wentz made all the right moves in a big win it many considered a trap game against the 49ers.  Key turnovers and some aerial artistry from number 11 were the name of the game, as the Eagles defense was able to secure a timely pick 6 and Wentz threw for 2 scores. The 49ers offense only produced a measly 238 yards. The Eagles now sit at 7-1 a top the entire league. They have soul possession of first place, thanks to an outstanding division and conference record of 3-0 and 6-0 respectively.

A Look Ahead

Next week the Eagles  prepare to take on the strugling Broncos on Sunday. The Birds will look to have newly aquired running back Jay Ajayi ready to go for this match up. Philadelphia out matches Denver in almost every facet of the game. Its no surprise the Eagles are an early 8 point favorite.

Washington Redskins

The Redskins came up short once again this time to the Cowboys for a week 8 loss on the road. Kurt Cousins was unimpressive, passing for just 263 yards and 1 score with a costly late interception. Chris Thompson  was a big factor in the recieveing game, as he accumulated  76 yards on 8 grabs. With the 33-19 loss the Skins drop to 3 games behind the Philadelphia Eagles in third place.

A Look Ahead

The Redskins have a tough match up coming up Sunday afternoon against the Seahawks. The Skins will have their work cut out for them as Seattle barely loses at home. As it stands they are a 7.5 point underdog.

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys followed up a beat down of the 49ers with another great performance. Running back Ezekiel Elliot‘s six game suspension has been put off for another week. With Zeke in the line up he was able to eat his way to  150 yards rushing and 2 scores.

A Look Ahead

Coming off a big win the Cowboys face a really good Chiefs team. This should be a game Dallas could lose, evident by the fact they are a slight 1 point home underdog.

New York Giants

The G-Men finally had the week off after getting embarrassed in week 7. The Giants will look to get Orleans Darkwa who only managed to picked up 35 yards on 9 carries against Seattle going again. Still things dont look to be getting any better in the city that never sleeps .

A Look Ahead

Coming up next on the schedule for New York is the 5-2 Rams. The Rams are coming off the bye following another dazzling offensive display and look to make quick work of the Giants even on the road. Evident by the fact the Rams are a 3.5 point favorite.
